OUR STORY
About us
In Cadenet, in the heart of the southern Luberon, Gîtes 1820 (formerly Sweet Home Provence) brings together three self-contained holiday cottages on a working olive estate. Each has its own enclosed garden and private pool, just a short drive from the villages of Lourmarin, Cucuron and Ansouis.
Established in 1998, the olive estate now has some 4,000 trees across 15 hectares. The Bastide du Laval mill, which opened in 2014, presses the olive oil right here on the estate.
Domaine 1820 is the name for the whole property: its farmland and woodland, the olive grove, the three gîtes and Bastide 1820, the estate’s historic house, available as a whole for up to 12 guests.

The house where the estate began, Bastide 1820 is now available to rent in its entirety. This 400 m² Provençal country house sleeps up to 12, perfect for family gatherings or holidays with friends in the heart of the southern Luberon.
