Freshly harvested olives in the estate’s olive grove

The estate covers some 30 hectares in Cadenet. Fifteen hectares are given over to the olive grove; the rest is woodland, hills, tracks and wild garrigue scrubland.

Around 4,000 olive trees are grown here organically. Varieties include Aglandau, Salonenque, Picholine, Cayon and Bouteillan, and the three gîtes are named after them.

After the harvest, the olives are pressed at the Bastide du Laval mill, right here on the estate.

THE ESTATE’S OLIVE MILL

From olive to oil.

The Bastide du Laval mill presses olives from the estate and from local growers. Visitors can see the main stages of production, then taste the oils made on site.
